Affiliate Disclosure

TabiTrace publishes real, completed trips to Japan shared by the travelers who took them. To keep the platform free and independent, some outbound links on TabiTrace are affiliate links. When you click one and complete a booking, we may receive a small commission from the partner — at no additional cost to you.
Partners we may link to
- Hotels & ryokan — Booking.com, Trip.com, Agoda, Expedia, Hotels.com, Hotellook
- Flights — Aviasales, Kiwi.com
- Activities & tickets — Klook, KKday, Tiqets, WeGoTrip, Go City, TicketNetwork
- Transfers & taxis — Kiwitaxi, GetTransfer, Welcome Pickups, intui.travel
- Car & bike rentals — EconomyBookings, Localrent, GetRentacar, QEEQ, AutoEurope, BikesBooking, SEARADAR
- Luggage storage — Radical Storage
- eSIM & connectivity — Airalo, GigSky, Yesim, Saily, Drimsim
- Insurance & flight compensation — EKTA, AirHelp, Compensair
- Privacy — NordVPN
All of the above are reached through the Travelpayouts affiliate network. Its Link Switch script runs on TabiTrace and automatically tags qualifying outbound clicks with our partner ID — we do not hand-craft or hand-manage individual affiliate URLs.
How links are marked
Every outbound partner link on TabiTrace opens in a new tab and is tagged rel="sponsored nofollow noopener" in accordance with Google’s guidance. Non-commercial links (a creator’s personal blog, Wikipedia, government tourism pages) are not marked as sponsored.
Editorial independence
Trips are chosen and written by real travelers, not by advertisers. A hotel appears on TabiTrace because a traveler actually stayed there — not because a partner paid for placement. Commissions never influence which itineraries we feature, verify, or rank.
Traveler-added links
Travelers may attach their own affiliate URL (e.g. a Booking.com or Trip.com partner link) to hotels in their itinerary. Those links are also disclosed as sponsored and follow the same technical rules above.
